Investigations & Operations Administration

 

Captain Danny Rabalais heads the Sheriff’s Operations Administration Division.  A 25-year law enforcement veteran, Captain Rabalais came to Tehama County in 1992 after serving nine years with the Orange Police Department in Southern California.

In his current assignment, Captain Rabalais is charged with administering patrol, investigations, dispatch, animal regulations, and a number of special services units, including reserves, search and rescue and the chaplain program. 

Captain Rabalais is currently the board president for both the Tehama County Police Activities League (PAL) and the Tehama County Department of Education.

In his off-duty time,  he enjoys photography.  Together, he and his wife, Dianne, have three children.

  

Lieutenant David Greer has been a sworn law enforcement officer since January 1987. Prior to working for the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office, the Corning Police Department employed him as a patrol officer, investigator then patrol sergeant. Dave Greer then came to the County of Tehama as an investigator for the District Attorney’s Office. In March 1999, Dave Greer came to the Sheriff’s Office as a detective, working crimes against person and property along with gang-related crimes and tracking gangs members and activities in Tehama County.

In December 2007, Dave Greer promoted to the rank of Lieutenant with his area of responsibilities being the Operations Division that includes Patrol, Dispatch and Detectives. Dave Greer is one of the department's Computer Voice Stress Analysts and a range officers.
