Visitation |
Inmates
will be allowed a minimum of two (2) visits, totaling at least one hour per
inmate each week. A regular visit between inmate and family members,
friends, or associates, will be conducted in the glass partitioned visiting room
using the sound powered telephones.
Visitation Rules
- Persons under
the age of 18 years, must be accompanied by a parent or legal
guardian, unless they are children of the inmate.
- Inmates or
ex-inmates of a penal institution, or this jail, will not be allowed to visit
or deposit funds for a period of sixty (60) days after their release date.
(Any exception to this rule, must be approved by the Lieutenant or Captain).
- All visitors
must complete a visitor slip and show pictured identification.
- Only one (1)
visitor may visit at a time. Visitors must share the time allotted.
- Visitors must
be dressed appropriately, wearing shoes and shirts.
- No food,
beverage, or smoking is permitted in the visitation area.
- Money Orders
or certified checks to be deposited on the inmate’s account are to be made out
in the name of the inmate, and will be accepted
at the visitation window.
- Visitors who
fail to obey the rules posted, or cause a disturbance in the jail lobby or
visiting area, will be requested to leave.
- Any person
who enters the visiting area and conducts any unauthorized communication with
an inmate, may be charged with violation of Section 4570 of the California
Penal Code.
